The history of our enterprise began in Kazakhstan.

In 2010, the first sowing machine Turbosem II 19-60 of Agro-Soyuz was sold to Kazakhstan. Due to the peculiarities of the local soils and the lack of conscientiousness of the farm machinery operators, the units of the copying system of the soil of the seeding units began to wedging up. As it is known, the seeding campaign should be run in short agrotechnical terms. At the same time, sowing machines must meet the basic requirements: full sowing quality assurance, reliability, maintainability in the field conditions, as high as possible frequency of maintenance.

Turbosem II 19-60 of Agro-Soyuz has 300 lubrication points, servicing time of which required significant resources and increased the sowing time, and, consequently, its productivity, which was reflected in chasing for moisture. Besides, the Kazakh soils have a higher sand percentage, penetration of which in units of the copying system of the seeding units, led to the increase of friction coefficient, the consequence of which was locking.

Responding to this situation, the representatives of the Agro-Soyuz Corporation requested to the representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian and Economic University (DSAEU) to reduce the external environment impact on the units of the copying system of the seeding units. While the only laboratory of composite materials in Ukraine was in DSAEU, the development of units and mechanisms began there, they would withstand the high-abrasive overload, which seeding units in the Kazakh conditions should withstand.

Eventually, without knowing it, by trial and error method, the scientists invented the material that the best met the necessary physical and chemical properties of units of the copying system of the soil of the seeding units.

The material testing began on the territory of Maiske, PJSC in the Dnipropetrovsk Region using the sowing machine Turbosem II 19-60 of Agro-Soyuz. For the whole testing time, the machine functioned in a normal operation mode. In the meantime, in contrast to the series seeding units, the experimental ones were not lubricated. For all the time of sowing campaign, 1932 ha were sowed and 9 stops of the machine for the maintenance of the factory units were carried out.

When the experimental seeding units were taken apart, it was detected that composite products in the units of the copying system of the soil have just been adjusting and have a huge reserve for the further operation. During disassembly of the serial seeding units, there was noted the obstruction to corrosion and metal joints wear that had to be replaced and were not suitable for further operation. The presence of the composite products has significantly reduced the costs of the maintenance of the sowing machine and increased the daily output. The maintainability of the experimental units in the field conditions was also mentioned.

At a later stage, the sowing machine Turbosem II 19-60 fully completed with the system of the improved correctness of the soil copying of Agro-Soyuz has sowed 9,179.5 ha, for which, in 2014, the representatives of Research and Development Enterprise Soyuz-Composite together with scientists of DSAEU and representatives of Maiske, PJSC have been listed on the National Register of Records of Ukraine and received the Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “For the development and implementation of innovative technologies.”

Today, Turbosem II 19-60 of Agro-Soyuz is unique – the first maintenance-free sowing machine in the world. What does it mean? It’s like a car that doesn’t require an oil change. The modernized units in 2016 set up the Second Record of Ukraine – 17,251 ha without maintenance and continue to work.

In addition to sowing machines Turbosem II, Research and Development Enterprise Soyuz-Composite today modernizes other manufacturers’ seeding units using the system of the improved correctness of soil copying, allowing the farmer to eliminate the human factor during the sowing machines operation. This is the goal of our research and development enterprise – to make the best available to everyone.

Innovation is the way to perfection!

Over the years of work, Soyuz-Composite Company received many awards, recognitions from professional organizations and the largest sectors of the mass media. The awards were given for the project, which has no analogues either in Ukraine or abroad. Sowing machines, the units of which are completed with composite components, worked without a single replacement or maintenance 17,251 ha, and continue to work. Developed by Research and Development Enterprise Soyuz-Composite, LLC technology, in 2014 was awarded the “Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for development and implementation of innovative technologies” and has been listed on the National Register of Records of Ukraine.
